Central Texas Live Music Facebook Groups

This list is as of August 2023 a current list of Facbook Groups that allow users to post shows and a few other resources. You may not be aware but there are not a lot of resources out there to get your show listed for us musicians without spending much money. As a musician, at a minimum, you should have a Facebook page where you can create your events. As you grow your page and add fans, you will be able to invite them , tag them, etc, but this page might be of immense help to the effort. Facebook Grouos are the key. You might even benefit by creating your own group as well. Groups send an notification to everybody in the group when you share it. Some of these groups are quite large. If you are a member of 10 groups and each group has 2500 members, you get the idea. So create your event on your page. Then share it to all the groups you can is the idea. Each group has their rules. Don't share a country gig on a metal music group for example. Check out each one before joining and make sure it will work for you. We hope this helps you get the word out for your next gig.
